Thinking about buying a used car or truck? We come look it over before you hand over the money and tell you straight what you're really buying.
A pre-purchase inspection is a thorough once-over of a used vehicle before you buy it. We scan for stored trouble codes, check the fluids and look for leaks, inspect the brakes, tires, belts, and suspension, look the body and frame over for past damage, and note anything that turns up on a short drive — then we tell you what we found in plain language. Because we're mobile, we can meet you at the seller's location.
A couple hundred dollars on an inspection can save you thousands on someone else's problem. Sellers don't always know — or always say — what's wrong, and a clean-looking car can be hiding a worn-out transmission, hidden collision repair, or a leak that's about to get expensive. An independent set of eyes before you pay gives you real negotiating room, or a reason to walk.
Get one before you buy any used vehicle, especially from a private seller or a car you can't easily return. If a deal feels rushed or too good, that's exactly when an inspection is worth it. Line it up before you put money down.
