What Is a/c service?

An A/C check inspects the whole air-conditioning system — compressor, condenser, refrigerant charge and pressures, the cabin vents, and the controls — to find out why it isn't cooling. We measure the system pressures, look for leaks, and check that the compressor is engaging before recommending a recharge or a repair, so you're not just paying to top off refrigerant that's going to leak right back out.

Why Is a/c service Important?

In a Georgia summer, A/C isn't a luxury. Low refrigerant usually means a leak somewhere, and running a system that's low can burn up the compressor — a cheap recharge ignored long enough becomes an expensive compressor job. Finding the actual cause first is what keeps a small fix from turning into a big one.

When Should You Consider a/c service?

Get it checked when the air blows warm or only cools at highway speed, the airflow is weak, you hear the compressor cycling on and off, there's a musty smell from the vents, or you can see signs of an oily refrigerant leak. Before the first heat wave is the best time.

“Can NOT say enough good things about Melissa and her husband Rodney. We were caravanning home from our Florida vacation.
